Trekmates' own DRY Protect technology, described as 'waterproof, breathable' and rated 5000/5000 (the page gives no units). Trekmates doesn't name a membrane maker and doesn't say the insert is sealed, so under the method it is an own-brand waterproof with no sealed statement: 2, the same call as the OEX Summit and the Mountain Equipment Mountain Glove. It would be the 4 band if Trekmates said the insert is sealed.
