In short
Good for
- Emergency shelter kept in the pack on hill days
- Simple, cheap sleeping bag cover under a tarp for people up to about 1.8 m tall
- Summer and dry-weather wild camps
Strengths
- Light at 340 g and packs to about 2.0 L, roughly the size of a 500 ml bottle
- 10,000 mm hydrostatic head on both the upper and the floor, from 70D ripstop nylon
- Terra Nova Dusk fabric, which the maker says is more breathable than a plain coating
- Drawcord hood closure and a compression stuff sack
Weaknesses
- Snug if you are over about 1.8 m, with no larger size
- Plain drawcord hood: it cannot be fully closed against heavy rain and has no zip or mesh
- Condensation needs managing, as with any closed bivvy bag, and the shop reviewer prefers a synthetic sleeping bag in it
- Few independent reviews, and the one we found tests an earlier year, so comfort, condensation and durability are estimates, not reviewed scores
- Breathability is lower than the Moonlite's (6,000 against 15,000 g/m² a day, as the shop lists it)
