Snugpak gives no litres. Its pack size of 32 x 26 cm, worked as a roll, is 3.1416 x 13 x 13 x 32 = 16,990 cm³, about 17 L, in the 13 L or more band.
In short
Good for
- Car-based and base-camp winter camping, where weight and bulk do not matter
- Bushcraft and hammock camping that wants a roomy synthetic bag
- Cold-weather use with a good mat, bearing in mind the -15 °C comfort figure is Snugpak's own guidance
Strengths
- Roomy for a mummy bag: a deployable side baffle widens it for movement or to cool down
- Synthetic Softie fill, easy to look after and keeps working if damp
- Two-way YKK side zips with an insulated baffle, foot clips to shorten the bag, a reinforced foot for wearing boots, an internal valuables pocket and a compression sack
Weaknesses
- Very heavy and bulky for carrying: 2,400 g and about 17 L packed, so it is for camp use, not backpacking
- No ISO 23537 or EN 13537 test stated, so the -15 °C comfort figure cannot be compared with other bags
- No independent tests found, so damp performance, comfort and durability are estimates, not reviewed scores
- The current listing is the 'WGTE' version; older reviews of the Elite 5 may be of the earlier edition
