Our ratings (out of 10)
1 to 10, compared with the whole market. Each says what it's based on. How we score
Waterproof build
From maker's figures 6/10How well its build keeps water out, from the published seams, closure and submersion claim. 6: A bit better than average.
Decathlon says taped seams and a roll-top closure (folded 3 times, then buckled), with an IPX5 rating and a 5,000 mm coating. It also says "waterproof, but not watertight. Not suitable for diving", so there is no submersion claim: the 3 band (taped seams and a roll-top).
Weight for its size
From maker's figures 10/10How much it adds to your pack for the space it protects. 10: The best you can buy for this.
65 g for 22 L is 3.0 g/L, under 4.0 g/L (Decathlon's figure).

In short
Good for
- A very cheap, light liner or organiser for a sleeping bag or clothes inside a rucksack
- Rain protection on UK hill trips when kept inside the pack
- Not for river crossings or anything that may go under water
Strengths
- 65 g for 22 L (3.0 g/L)
- Taped seams and a roll-top with a buckle
- Pull tab on the base helps get kit out
- Flat shape can double as a pillow, Decathlon says
- 2-year warranty
Weaknesses
- IPX5 and "not suitable for diving": rain and splash proof, not submersible
- 40D fabric: keep it inside the pack, not on the outside where it can scuff
- Sold only through Decathlon
- No independent reviews found, so durability and ease are estimates, not reviewed scores
