In short

Good for

  • Keeping clothes, electronics or a first aid kit dry inside a rucksack
  • Everyday organising of mid-size kit at a modest weight: 67 g for 8 L
  • Splash and rain protection inside a pack; Sea to Summit says not to submerge it

Strengths

  • Recycled 70D nylon
  • Hypalon roll-top with a replaceable Field Repair Buckle
  • D-ring for clipping on
  • Sizes from 1.5 to 35 L
  • Oval base stops it rolling away on slopes; white interior makes small items easy to find

Weaknesses

  • Needs at least three rolls of the roll-top before buckling to seal
  • Not made for submersion: Sea to Summit says water can seep through the roll-top
  • Sea to Summit advises double-bagging electronics and avoiding sharp or abrasive surfaces
