In short
Good for
- Solo walkers or pairs who want the Lite Ultra weight with a bigger pot
- Three-season trips where a 1.2 L pot can boil water for two meals
- Weight-conscious walkers who still want a pot that locks onto the burner
Strengths
- 290 g for burner and pot, in the 250-349 g weight band
- 1.2 L pot with heat exchanger, low-profile lid and titanium handles (Primus)
- Pot supports in the box let you use other pots on the burner (Primus)
Weaknesses
- No independent hands-on test found yet, so wind and ease of use are estimates, not reviewed scores
- Primus publishes no fuel-use figure
- No pressure regulator, so power drops as the canister empties or gets cold; not for winter
- Shop pages disagree on the pot: Ultralight Outdoor Gear still says 1.0 L, Primus now says 1.2 L for the same product code
