In short
Good for
- Summer and early-autumn wild camps where nights stay above about 0 to 4 °C with a suitable bag
- Weight-focused walkers who pitch in a tent on a groundsheet and want the lightest full-length air mat
- Side sleepers who want a stable, quiet mat that packs to about 0.7 L
Strengths
- 240 g for the regular mummy, one of the lightest full-length air mats made
- Packs to about 14 x 8 cm, smaller than a 2-litre bottle
- Baffles spread weight and stay quiet: reviewers report no crinkle noise
- Vortex pump sack, flat valve with fine pressure release, repair patches and strap come in the box
- Lifetime warranty to the original owner from authorised dealers
Weaknesses
- R 2.4 is for warm nights only; add a foam mat below it for cold ones
- The 10D shell is thin: Section Hiker and Field Mag call it fragile, so keep it off bare ground and check the tent floor for grit
- Slippery top: a sleeping bag can slide on it (CleverHiker, Field Mag)
- Tapered mummy shape, 51 cm at the shoulders, feels narrow to some reviewers
- No multi-year durability reports yet: the mat is new for 2025
