Mountain Equipment lists 320 g, in the under 350 g band. No size is given, so this may not be the men's M weight; Ultralight Outdoor Gear lists 289 g for a Medium, UKC weighed 310 g for a men's L and Alpinist confirmed 320 g for a size L, all in the same band.
In short
Good for
- Cold camps, belays and summit stops in cool-to-cold dry weather, carried at a low weight
- Ski touring and fast-and-light hill days where the jacket stays in the pack until you stop
- A light emergency layer for hill running or day packs
Strengths
- 320 g with 120 g (size L) of 800 fill power hydrophobic goose down
- Hexagon baffles that UKC found warm for the weight, with a hood roomy enough for a helmet
- Two-way front zip gives access to a harness belay loop
- Packs small into its own stuff sack
Weaknesses
- 10D outer needs care around rock and thorns; the DWR sheds light rain and snow only (Alpinist: wets through in more than a drizzle)
- Hood has no adjustment and flaps in wind; falls over the eyes with only a beanie (UKC, Alpinist)
- No packed size published
- Warmth, damp performance and durability aren't scored: only two independent tests found
- Hexagonal stuff sack is awkward to fill with cold hands
