Our ratings (out of 10)
1 to 10, compared with the whole market. Each says what it's based on. How we score
Weight for its size
From maker's figures 7/10How much it adds to your pack for the amount it holds. 7: Better than most.
Evernew's page text gives 120 g and 600 ml (with scale), and Evernew's Japanese online shop gives the same 120 g. 120 g for 0.6 L = 200 g per litre, in the 150-219 g/L band. Evernew doesn't say what the 120 g includes (lid and bag are not mentioned). Ultralight Outdoor Gear lists the same 120 g as pot 84 g, lid 28 g and nylon bag 8 g, so it looks like everything in the box. Evernew's figure is the one banded.

In short
Good for
- Solo walkers who boil water for dehydrated meals and sometimes simmer soup or noodles
- Cooking on a stove with a wide burner head, where the short, wide pot sits level and heats evenly (Evernew; Ultralight Outdoor Gear)
- Measuring water with the 200, 400 and 600 ml marks inside
Strengths
- 120 g for 0.6 L, 200 g per litre
- Ceramic non-stick coating on 0.4 mm titanium, made in Japan
- Silicone-covered handles that fold away; lid and nylon bag included
- Short, wide shape (124 mm across, 52 mm deep) for a larger flame area
Weaknesses
- At 600 ml it is small, with little room to cook a meal as well as boil the water (Ultralight Outdoor Gear)
- The coating needs care: too much heat can damage it (Ultralight Outdoor Gear)
- No independent test or review of this size found, so cooking and durability are estimates, not reviewed scores
