In short
Good for
- Sleepers who like a washable cover: it comes off the inflatable inner
- Hooded mummy bags and bivvy bags: narrow enough to sit in the hood
Strengths
- Soft stretch cover comes off and washes on a cool wash
- Air-adjustable firmness: you can run it high or low, firm or squashy
- Narrow enough to sit inside a bag or bivvy hood, wide enough to stop you rolling off (Alpkit)
- 3-year Alpine Bond guarantee from Alpkit; 60% recycled materials
Weaknesses
- No packed size published beyond "tennis ball", so packed size is an estimate, not a reviewed score
- No independent test: comfort and durability are estimates, not reviewed scores
- Only 8.5 cm tall, lower than the Sea to Summit Aeros pillows (12 cm)
- Alpkit sizes carry a ±7% tolerance, and the sack print (100 g, 42 x 28 x 8 cm) differs from the web page
